Brookwood was the vision of Forrest Raines. Wanting to bring a piece of tranquility to Mississippi, Brookwood was designed to be a place love could create memories for a lifetime. Forrest’s southern charm and roots with a keen eye for architecture design, created the timber chapel that can not go unnoticed.
Located in Bruce, MS, Brookwood is located on Lake Helen with 140 rolling acres and a scenic few, with just a short drive from Tupelo, MS, and 30 miles from Oxford, MS. Enjoy two miles of groomed hiking trails, woods, and fields, an abundance of wildlife, and fishing for bass, bream, or catfish in the six-acre lake. The chapel, the grounds, and the cabin can be reserved for outdoor wedding ceremonies, company retreats, or any special occasion. The neutral palette and grounds can transform any event from upscale glam to rustic bohemian, even to a modern vision in white all with beautiful natural scenery.
